I Hate Coldharbour

So do cuts just not work if you have a bulleted list or what????

• How is there not a buyable house here? There's like 1500 abandoned houses, let me put my Daedric Skull Thrones in one

• WHY IS VANUS GALERION ALWAYS SHOUTING?

• The Wayshrine location in the Hollow City is Not Very Convenient in its positioning and it's getting annoying

• Who is Darien??????????  Should I know who he is?????????????

• Did the Cliffs of Failure spoil an entire questline for me because if so, I'm gonna be mad

• If you jump down into the Tower of Lies after finishing the questline you have to Wayshrine, Recall, or Teleport to a friend to get out????? Really?????????? Like I get that it's supposed to be this inescapable place but come on, at least make the portal back to the city at the end of the questline stay open  :/

Of course, there's good things about Coldharbour, too, like:

• Cadwell

• The Hollow City having a gorillion flower nodes

• Glowing plasma pools (they just look cool okay)

Speaking of nodes, it's time to complain about the entire rest of the game why not:

• Maybe GW2 spoiled me, but harvestable nodes not being instanced sucks and is the worst. It makes me wish this was a single-player game (OK, a few things do that (never read Zone Chat)). Enemy loot is instanced, entire zones are instanced, why not nodes?????

• Why can only guilds sell stuff???? I either have to join a guild full of people I don't know or care about in order to use their guild store or just shout in zone chat every couple of minutes that I'm selling junk or I guess just never sell anything unless it's to an NPC for pennies

• Apparently there used to be an intro cutscene that explains why your character is in Coldharbour to begin with and I can't even fathom why they would've gotten rid of that, seriously, why would you remove that

• The lighting in the character creation screen is all sorts of weird, and I'm having trouble telling what color things actually are

• Why are female Orcs so human-looking? It's terrible! Male Orcs can be actual Orcs and female Orcs are just greyish elves with two pointy teeth and I don't like it! Also why aren't Orcs green, I want green Orclike Orcs :(

• Companions keep getting all up in my face so instead of looting a corpse or box or opening a door I end up talking to them and it's getting irritating

• What is up with all the different editions I don't get how they're supposed to work TBH. I want the palomino horse but apparently I can't just buy Gold Edition and get it because I already have an account???? What kinda sense does that make????? Someone will inevitable tell me "Just buy the DLC from the Crown Store when there's a Crown Sale!" but that still won't get me the horse!!!!

• Continuity errors that I won't list here because Spoilers

Love/hate things:

• Enemies level with you. This is good because I don't have to grind up to a certain point in order to progress to the next area or next dungeon or what have you. It's good and bad because whatever loot they drop will always be your level. What if I want lower-level gear to give to a newbie friend? I dunno, it's a double-edged sword

Don't get me wrong, I'm having fun with the game, but that doesn't make it immune to criticism. In fact, I'll even make a list of things that I love about it so that this post isn't entirely one-sided:

• NPCs comment on your exploits when you walk past them, so I feel like I'm actually making an impact on the world

• All the different crafting styles. Seriously, there's so many unique armors and weapons, I haven't even seen a fraction of them, it's getting absurd. You can dye all of them (fashion is the true endgame of any MMO). Oh and there's costumes and cash shop items on top of that. 

• There's also a LOT of content. Tons of quests have long-lasting consequences, too, and I like that.

• Fishing

• Add-ons

• Crime

• Free teleport to friend, free teleport from Wayshrine to Wayshrine

• PLAYER HOUSING AND FURNISHING YOUR HOUSE

• Ordinators! Skeletons! Monstergirls! Oh my!

Oh dear, I've gotten distracted. Anyways, that was cathartic - time to go spit on Molag Bal or something IDK
